STUDENTS: Requires transfer of student education
records within 10 business days of receipt of a written request by certain
educational facilities and removes authority to withhold a student's grades
under certain circumstances. Includes an approved home
study program and a nonpublic school established in a private residence as
educational facilities. * Modified before final
passage to only include correctional or health facilities; removed reference to

STUDENT/SCH ATTENDANCE: Provides relative to the
transfer of students' records.
For purposes of transferring student records as required in
this Section, any parent who withdraws a student from a public school, prior to
such withdrawal, shall submit to the school the name and address of the school
or other educational setting that the student will be attending.

STUDENT/HOME STUDY: Provides
eligibility for students in BESE-approved home study programs to participate in
public school extracurricular activities under specified circumstances

approved home study programs or any other home school programs
